OUR PROMISE
To educate and equip urban communities with the best technology & tools to implement science-based and humane conflict mitigation, fostering coexistence with coyotes through education, communication, science, and behavior modification.
PROTECT COYOTES
Why do coyotes need protection?
Coyotes are among the most persecuted species in North America, despite their vital role in our ecosystems. In the aftermath of centuries-long “war on wild carnivores,” combined with misconceptions and unjust policies, we have created a world in which the recovery of coyotes is threatened, ecological health is diminished, and the well-being of coyotes' lives is impeded.
COYOTE-FRIENDLY COMMUNITIES
DAta + Coyotes
The response to conflicts with coyotes is often lethal, indiscriminate, and not supported by the best available science. To bridge the gap between ineffective and shortsighted lethal action, a science-based, data-backed, compassionate coexistence is necessary, where humans and wildlife learn to co-adapt and share landscapes.
REAL PRESERVATION
Inspire Change
Unjust and unscientific persecution of wild coyotes is often perpetuated through gossip, misinformation, and lack of centralized reporting. It is essential to provide our families and next generation with data-backed, science-based information and inspire compassionate coexistence with coyotes, dispelling the misconceptions that have persisted for generations.
keeping kids, pets, & communities safe with coyote safety network.
